In a near future, democracy has slipped into a state of total anarchy, and slavery has become a way of life. Carla is one of those slaves who does everything she can to build a trust bond with her overseer, 'Karin.' Her power can be taken away from her just as quickly as she took Karin's power: through senseless violence.
